Parametric Design Fundamentals

Parametric Design: To express a set of quantities of a number of independent variables known as parameters. To translate an idea through parameters into specific actions

Parametric equations examples: Circle: x = r*cos(t), y=r*sin(t)

Line: x=(t), y=r*sin(t)

Parameter: A variable that can be varied or changed

Types of Parameters: Origin, Orientation, Radius, Number of Divisions, Outer Geometry Definition, Pattern to remove points
