While running through the surface workshop files. I like using a Brep reference to map onto a surface as I find it easier to follow and more useful if you know what you want the surface to look like but no necessarily the parametric steps to take to get from point A to B.
I wanted to try and combine the existing surface file and the barnacles created. However I had a hard time trying to figure out how to combine the two and cut through the surface.
Solution: Bake and trim natively in Rhino.
Experimenting with attractor points.
Following along the trust tutorial to create a surface of offset triangles.
