As an alternative to the midterm proposal, first exploration was made on the Voronoi structure to manipulate light and sight.
- Voronoi pattern density
- Aperture size through attractor point
- Relief depth through attractor point
- Direction of the openings through attractor point
Centroids are moved to various heights as the vertices of the pyramids.
Voronoi cells are offseted to form the apertures. Due to the various sizes of the Voronoi cells, cull index needs to be applied to get rid of the bad offsets.
The original and offseted Voronoi cell edges are lofted to surfaces.
*The attractor point is at the location where the most light and visibility can come through. Base on the final orientation of the whole structure, it will be adjusted accordingly.
